Southeast Asia Research Fellowship Programme for Young Muslim Scholars 2007

The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) is pleased to announce the sixth
round of the research fellowship program, Islam in Southeast Asia: View
from within.

The fellowship grants will be awarded for
innovative research on issues concerning economic, socio-political and
cultural changes taking place in the diverse Muslim communities of
Southeast Asia, especially as they relate to modernization and
globalization.

The Fulbright ASEAN Visiting Scholars Program For 2008-2009, the inaugural year of the program, applications will be invited from interested individuals in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

The Fulbright ASEAN Visiting Scholars Program is open to university faculty, foreign ministry and government officials, and professional staff of think tanks and other NGOs in ASEAN member nations. Read the rest of this entry »
